Bungie’s Destiny was one of the biggest games when it launched in 2014. Fast-forward three years, and Destiny 2 is giving new players a chance to try out the latest title through a free trial from today (28 November).
“Team up with friends or play solo and experience your first steps in the epic cinematic-filled campaign, explore new worlds, and face off in competitive multiplayer,” the company said in a press release.
If you want to give it a whirl, you can download the free trial for Destiny 2 through your console (Xbox One or PS4) or Blizzard Battle.net on PC to participate.
Since it is a free trial, it does have its limits though. You will be able to play a campaign mission on the European Dead Zone and Titan, and play Adventures. In terms of multiplayer, you can play competitive through the Crucible’s Quickplay playlist.
It will also allow you to play Solo, or create a Fireteam and join a clan.
If you do decide to buy the game after the trail period, you progress carried over to the full game. Progress for the trial is locked to level seven.
