HGC Mid-Season Brawl all set for 9 June

Via Press Release

With Heroes of the Storm’s first global competition almost upon us, the action is about to get really hot come June 9.

According to the press release:

With regional champions decided, the best Heroes of the Storm teams in the world are preparing to battle for international bragging rights at the Mid-Season Brawl—the first global competition on the HGC calendar.

The action kicks off with the Mid-Season Brawl group stage at Monster Energy DreamHack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden from 14:00 CEST on June 9. HGC Western Clash winners Team Dignitas, as well as fellow European teams Fnatic and Method, will challenge top competitors from North America, Korea, China, Australia/New Zealand, and Taiwan. Teams will duke it out in a round-robin format to determine seeding for the playoffs—taking place live on stage at DreamHack Summer in Jönköping starting June 16. There, they’ll have a shot at the lion’s share of a $250,000 USD prize pool and the chance to show off their skills to the world.
